Opi purjehtimaan, tai tule nauttimaan!
Tarjoan ainutlaatuista purjehduskoulutusta valtamerikelpoisella aluksellani sy Fareata. Olen kouluttanut ja opettanut purjehduksen alkeita neljän vuoden aikana jo yli 300 oppilaalle, joista suurin osa täysin ensikertalaisia. Vuonna 2020 järjestämäni gastikoulutus pääsi suureen suosioon aloittelevien ja vähän kokeneiden purjehtijoiden keskuudessa.
Tule mukaan, tai pyydä oma koulutus- tai elämysmatkasi porukallesi!
Bravuurimme on Turku- Seili- Turku viikonlopun (La-Su) elämys- tai koulutuspurjehdus! Seilissä on loistavat puitteet mökkimajoitukselle myös isommille ryhmille ( yli 2 hlö) ja saunat yksityisesti varattavissa.
Purjehduksen kesto on 2 päivää lähtien La noin klo 10 ja päättyen Sunnuntaina noin klo 18 ja sisältää lounaat, aamiaisen, päivällisen ja iltasnacksin. Hinta 900e/pvä sisältää kaiken paitsi majoituksen (varattava erikseen visitseili.fi kautta).

GASTIKOULUTUS?
Gatikouluksessa opit purjehduksen perustaidot niin, että voit toimia veneessä kuin veneessä pätevänä ja itseäsi edustavana gastina. Opit purjehduksen perustaidot jotta voit osallistua veneilyyn kipparin osaavana ja turvallisuus-tietoisena apulaisena. Purjehtiminen on elämän mittainen tie, ja tästä se alkaa.
Mitkä ovat gastin tärkeimmät solmut? Tunnetko merenkulun navigoinnin turvalaitteet? Miten ohjaillaan linjataulujen mukaan? Mitä ovat kardinaalimerkit? Entä purjeiden säätö, nosto, lasku ja trimmaus? Mitä lähtövalmisteluja veneessä on? Entä kiinnitysrutiinit? Kokeile veneen ohjailua - myös rantautuessa ja satamassa ohjeiden mukaan. Opi tärkeimmät turvallisuustekijät veneillessä. Mitkä olivatkaan purjeveneiden väistämissäännöt? Mikä merkitys on tähystämisellä? Mikä on tärkeintä mies-yli-laidan tilanteessa?

Huomio, että järjestän purjehduksia toisen työn ohella, joten en välttämättä pysty tarjoamaan Teille sitä aikaa, kun parhaiten toivoisit. Näissä rajoissa tarjoan kuitenkin ainutlaatuisia elämyksiä merellä sekä ammattimaista purjehduskoulutusta Sinulle ja tiimillesi.
Olen merenkulun ammattilainen, merikapteenin tutkinnon suorittanut vahtiperämies kauppalaivastosta, ja intohimonani on jakaa purjehdusta vapaa-ajallani. Nykyinen työ Merivoimien palveluksessa merenkulun kouluttajana ja vahtiupseerina.

Everything but sailing...
The voyage always starts with a familiarization to the boat and practical issues. If you aks for a proper sailing sailing course, we go through a few practical lessons also before departure, so you will have better touch and understanding to the boat at the sea.
During the day you'll learn lot about sail handling, maneuvering, navigating, knots and other essential skills needed by the Sea - you will be at the Helm starting at the very beginning!
We sail at the unique Turku archipelago. We depart in the heart of it in Nauvo or Turku, depending on the season.
We are no racers, but cruisers with a stable, safe boat - well suited for off-season sailings: steel boat Fareata is made for oceans, being spaceful and well livable year-around!
TRAINING - excellent boat & skipper for your sail training progress and mile building! From beginner to experienced.
BIRTHDAYS and such events - the sea is great environment bringing people together!
BUSINESS MEETINGS? - What’s more than a departure from Ruissalo beach and sail a few hours all the way to the town river, while enjoying a great meal & companion discussions?
FAMILIES, maybe we take it easy on and cruise an easy-going route around Ruissalo beach and back?
ADVENTURERS and couples, who always want something more, a weekend or a week sail will really give you a deeper view into the lifestyle of sailing and living in a boat!
The boat accommodates 2 people (basically a couple) but accommodation may be arranged on an island-we-visit for groups (ie. Seili offers some good and tested options for this!).

THINGS YOU NEED
- Water bottle
- Good wind- & sunproof outdoor-clothing
- Sunglasses & Sun lotion
- Snacks for your own and for common table
- Positive, curious mind;)
THINGS FOR OVERNIGHT:
- Sleepig bag if sleep in the boat
- Head light with fresh batteries
- Soft covered bag for your treasures (avoid hard-covered suitcases)
Use of electrycity may be restricted if not connected to shore power. (we have a few powerbanks for loan) :)
PRIZE INCLUDING
- insurance for crew (not incl. luggage)
- port fees and saunas (when served in the harbor)
- Food or a meal (mainly served as full-service, but sometimes some help might be needed in cutting vegs etc.)
PRIZE NOT INCLUDING
- Activities /food outside of boat (ie. restaurants)
- Travels to boat / home
WHERE?
-Turku (Åbo) or Nauvo (Nagu in Pargas, mainly due July-August).
FACILITIES AT BOAT
-Toilet with a septic system
-Fresh water & separate drinking water canisters (300 L + canisters)
-Accommodation for 2 visitors in a "boat-wide" bed and own room separated with a curtain
-Powerbanks for loan for charging phones when out of electricity supply
"Much like when hiking in nature: no extra facilities, if any!"
ZERO WASTE - we don't invest much on litter and don't gather it much from the crew on boat: you gather your own thrash (ie. papers from snacks) on board and recycle them after sailing (have your own "thrash bag" with). This makes life easier, and maybe helps us all to reduce the amount of no-needed thrash.
When we're sailing timelessly with our crew, we love to take time to explore, swim and exercise (meditation, yoga and martial arts) on land. You may any time to join these activities, or find your own!

- Experienced seafarer from the Merchant Navy Fleet, currently working in The Finnish Navy vessels as maritime trainee and watchkeeping officer

We made an amazing trip to Seili island with my family and the boat crew. Jasper is such a great teacher for beginners and is very much good company for a weekend sail. Keiju cooks delicious meals with a great variety and puts a smile on everybodys face. I would recommend this to anybody interested in sailing and adventuring.

The sailing weekend with Jasper and Keiju was great! Jasper is an excellent skipper and even better teacher. He was very patient with us and arranged the sailing so that we could practise as much as possible. It was a lot of fun and we felt safe all the time. Keiju cooked excellent food for us and it was lovely to chat with her! Jasper and Keiju's boat felt like home for us in the time spent there. We strongly recommend the experience and we hope to have the chance to sail with them again.
