What are we going to do
Are you having travel fever and would like to see and experience new things? No worries even if traveling is not allowed. You can come and experience a piece of Japan in Villa Kuuva on the beautiful island of Ruissalo with your loved ones. Yasuko Katayama (Yasukos kitchen) will prepare to you a delicious dinner and you will hear about japanise food culture and more. Maybe you will also learn few words japanise. If needed we will teach you how to use chopsticks or you can ofcourse enjoy your dinner the western way.
Dinner is served at the beautiful glassed terrace of Villa Kuuva. During the evening you will also see the Swedish Ferries float by.
After the dinner if you wish you can enjoy the senere at the dock. Take pictures or relax and listen to the queting evening and watch the darkening sky.
Due to the Covid-19 booking is for 6 persons.

About Sannamari - the Doer
Coffee shop at Villa Kuuva was started as a summer job for my son and has developed from that. The japanese connection comes from our times in Tokyo.
Yasuko our japanese friend mover over and started her restaurant, Yasukos kitchen in Turku.
Now we are connecting our beautiful place with japanese delicacies for you to enjoy by the sea.

Requirements
If the evening is chilly can even the heated terrace be cool. Take that in consideration when choosing what to wear.
Villa Kuuva does not serve alcohol. So if you wanna have a glass of wine you can bring your own wine.

Mahtava paikka, herkullinen ruoka ja erittäin mielenkiintoinen katsaus japanilaiseen ruokakulttuuriin, ja kulttuuriin yleisestikin. Tätä elämystä voi suositella erittäin lämpimästi.

Kiitos käynnistä :) ja tervetuloa taasen.
Teimme pilotin, jotta saadaan elämyksestä vielä parempi. Ruoka oli todella hyvää. Minulle japanilainen ruoka on tähän asti ollut lähinnä sushia, oli kiva päästä tutustumaan muihinkin herkkuihin. Samalla oppi myös muita asioita kuten muutaman sanan japania: Gotsi soo sama desta, hyvää ruokaa!
Sanna sai meidät tuntemaan itsemme todella tervetulleiksi kauniiseen kotiinsa ja yhdessä Yasukon kanssa he loivat illalliselle todella lämpimän ja kotoisan tunnelman. Ruotsinlaivakin meni ohi illallisen aikana. Ruissalon maisemat eivät petä koskaan, koettiin vielä ihana sininen hetkikin illan päätteeksi!
