What are we going to do

Sammallahdenmäki was chosen for the UNESCO World Heritage list as the first archaelogical site in Finland. The guide leads the group along a path to this burial site remaining from the Bronze Age. The area covering almost a kilometre contains 36 burial cairns of different shapes and sizes, the most famous of them being Kirkonlaattia, the Church Floor, and the long cairn of Huilu. Stories and tales brighten up the tour. Sammallahdenmäki is located in the middle of beautiful Finnish forest.

Sammallahdenmäki is located about 20 km from the city centre.

Children under 15 free of charge.

The tour is a walking tour. Sammallahdenmäki is in the forest and there are narrow paths. In wet weather the cliffs and tree roots can be slippery. Dress according to weather and wear comfortable shoes.

The tour is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Very nice excursion with an enthusiastic guide.
And, ooooh, what a beautiful forest!
It was all well organised.

Olen hyvin tyytyväinen esittelyyn, joka oli mielenkiintoinen. Erityiskiitos linja-auto kuljettajalle kun otti huomioon reittitoivomuksemme.

The guide was excellent. It was an inpiring tour.

Tosi mukava kokemus, opas oli mahtava ja hänellä on ihana Rauman murre ❤️

Asiantunteva opas, selkeä esitys, mielenkiintoinen kierros!
