What are we going to do
Old Rauma is an inexhaustible source of art for many visual artists. Many artists have a personal studio in Old Rauma and some also live in the colorful wooden houses of the old town.
This walking tour will introduce you to the idyllic Old Rauma art and artists during the last hundred years. However, we begin our excursion from the church where we see the city's oldest paintings and sculptures from the 15th and 16th centuries. The tour also includes a visit to the 1-2 contemporary artist’s studios. We’ll see paintings, ceramics, sculptures and art prints. The tour can also, if desired, focus more closely on a particular art field or technique.
