What are we going to do

THIS EXPERIENCE IS ONLY IN FINNISH!

Welcome to the Old Rauma ghost tour for children! Finland's third oldest city and hundreds of years old houses in the UNESCO World Heritage Site hide a variety of secrets. The stories and real experiences of the locals are the basis of this ghost tour.

In which house does the furniture change its place by itself? Who haunts the art museum? In which house are the sounds of footsteps and knocks?

Children cannot participate in the tour alone, but must be accompanied by an adult! This tour is therefore for all ages.

The tour lasts 45min-1h and the length of the trip is about 1.5 kilometers. The tour begins and ends on the ruins of the Holy Trinity Church (Vanhankirkonkatu, on the edge of Kalatori).

After all, dress for the round according to the weather and put on shoes suitable for walking. If you wish, bring your own light source, ie a lantern or a flashlight.

I am authorized Rauma Guide and early childhood education teacher. I am happy to organize guided tours in Rauma, especially in world heritage sites, ie Old Rauma and Sammallahdenmäki.

The ghost tour in Old Rauma is designed to be suitable for children and the most horrific stories have been left out. However, the tour includes ghost stories and in addition, the twilight city creates an exciting atmosphere. It is important that the child experiences excitement together with the adult, which makes it easy to process the emotions afterwards. Learning emotional skills is therefore important and horror is one of the emotions that can easily go unaddressed. Scary stories can teach a child to deal with their own fears as well.

Requirements
