Traditional 19th century sauna for men

Seacaptain’s sauna gives you unique and traditional 19th century sauna experience in Raahe Old Town!

When you step into this historical yard and sauna, you take a step back in time, all the way to the 1800s. You’ll forget stress, hustle and daily chores. Seacaptain’s sauna is standing on it’s old foundation and it is part of Tradehouse of Lang’s yard. The sauna is located in the middle of Old Raahe. The sauna is made of old logs, water runs with a hose and bucket - just like in the 19th century.

Sauna is open:
Ladies 3pm - 5pm
Gentlemen 5:15pm - 7:15pm
Children under 10 years old, only with an adult.

Price is 15€/person, including local handmade soap for use in sauna and water with taste of seabuckthorn.

Children under 10 years old go by 10€/person, only with an adult.

Take a towel, sitting towel and soap with you. You can also rent towels from the reception and buy handmade soap to go with. Other drinks (soft drinks, wine, cider, beer, sparkling wine) you can buy when paying the sauna. Please note, that the sauna is part of Tradehouse of Lang’s serving area. Bringing own drinks and foods is prohibited.

Please book your sauna experience in advance. Sauna will be heated according to the reservations. Maximum capacity of Seacaptain’s sauna is 12 persons, and it will be heated to the minimum of 4.
