What are we going to do
We will meet at Sokos Hotel Eden in Nallikari. In the beginning we will adjust the snowshoes to fit everyone’s footwear, set the walking staffs to correct height and demonstrate how the equipment works. Then we’ll head out on a route that takes us over the frozen sea to the beautiful wintery wooded areas of Hietasaari.
Snowshoe trekking provides an active way to experience the frozen sea and some of the most beautiful scenery in the area. It doesn’t require previous experience and as the altitudes differ very little in Oulu, practically the whole trip takes place on the sea level and is suited for anyone with a basic fitness.

Exclusions: Winter clothes
Meeting: On a selected date and time at Sokos Hotel Eden in Nallikari.
Public transportation: Bus nro 15 from Oulu City Hall to Nallikari every 30 mins.
Extra services (you can pay on location by credit card):
Rental of winter clothes and boots: 25 € / person (inform us 48 h prior to the start time at the latest)
