The product includes baking instruction, baking supplies, soup lunches, homemade pies, egg butter, food drinks, dessert and coffee or tea, and participant diplomas.
Ritva Ryttyläinen teaches the traditional Karelian way to bake Karelian pies by hand. Participants will be told about the Karelian food tradition. We use flour from a nearby mill and the group can choose rice or barley porridge for filling the pie.
After the baking , guests can enjoy soup lunch and enjoy their own pastries.
Guided tours take place at the Männikkölän Pirtti Log House on the shore of Pielinen.
