What are we going to do

During this city walk, you’ll visit locations in Soho and Covent Garden that have significance to the life and works of Agatha Christie. You’ll hear stories about Christie’s life and see filming locations of the Hercule Poirot TV series: what is the crime writers’ Detection Club, what was the mystery in Christie’s own life, who was the Mousetrap play originally written for? During this relaxed 2-hour walk in a small group, you’ll also get to hear other stories about London and meet some other interesting historical characters.

About Meanderwoman - the Doer

I moved to London from Finland over 20 years ago, and have ”studied” this city, its history and sights ever since. I’ve always taken pleasure in sharing information and tips about things that inspire me. And there is no lack of those in London! For the past 10 years, I’ve worked as a tour guide and travel writer. I’m particularly interested in women’s history, literature and food and drink cultures. Agatha Christie’s books were the first books I read in the English language and I have seen the majority of the TV series and films based on her books many times over! Looking forward to sharing some of the stories with you!

Requirements

You will need to be able to walk without problems for about 4 km in city streets that can be uneven and manage some stairs.
