The Guesthouse is located in the heart of North Karelia, run by entrepreneur and hostess Anni Inkeri Korhonen. Anni has created a unique experience that includes organic lifestyle, nature, locality, peace, and mysticism. The restaurant's menu is based on sustainably produced organic ingredients and North Karelian food culture. We use energy, money, and ambition to find just the right and suitable products for our dining table. This means that our food is organically grown and bred. We prefer locally produced raw ingredients and products, and take the principles of sustainable and responsible operations into account in our daily operations.

We are proud to maintain the cooking traditions of the past, we are proud of our own craftsmanship and of being able to give our guests a genuine taste of tradition. Food is served in ticks and cups, food is served with joy and professionalism for every guest to enjoy. Eastern Finnish "emännyys" (entertaining hostess mindset) is deeply rooted in us, it creates a good space for guests to enjoy food and drinks. Emännyys also includes telling stories about rural life. Anni's stories take our guests on a journey into Eastern Finnish culture, spiced with humor. We want to give our guests a piece of taste memories and a sense of genuine satisfaction and reconnection with our mind's happy state.
