What are we going to do
Silent coffee break includes fire-brewed, black pot coffee with the "spoon" made from willow, butter-baked Finnish campfire pancakes (crepes) with reindeer-ham or vegetabel filling and bottle of house own rowan leaf juice called "Teardrop of Saint Rowan"
When you stomach is full, you can rest in a real hay barn and dream about old days.
You can also go to the field of the Silent People and listen their whispers and even change clothes with some hay head. Remember, don´t leave anybody naked!

About Hiljaisen Kansan Niittykahvila - the Doer
My roots are very deep in hay field and I find myself here again. I started the Silent People Meadow Cafe over 20 years ago and I am so lucky to do this with my heart and follow my instinct in a way of sustainability and locality. In summer 2020 we were grounded Visit Finland´s Sustainable Travel badge and in Autumn, the price of most tasteful countryside company in Kainuu region. Sustainable development is the process, which goes on all the time.
I enjoy so much every customer who comes and stays with us for a while, give their time and feel the atmosphere. It is so nice to see happy faces.

Requirements
Please, just come with open mind and let the magic fill you soul. In our barn shop you can find unique local handicrafts as a souvener. Our facilities are also good for person with handicap and wheel chair.
