What are we going to do

Feeling tired of all the video conferences and sitting at your desk all day? Or maybe you are trying to manage the hustle and bustle with your family at home? Take a break, step outdoors, stop the spinning thoughts, relax your body and mind!

The Nature Boost is a personal restorative activity done with a phone call. When we have set up the meeting, I will call you and lead you through the exercises.

The activity is based on the Finnish Forest Mind (Metsämieli) method of mental skills exercises. It's an easy way to freshen up your day – always personalised to meet your moods and feelings in the moment. You don’t need any previous experience, just an open mind!

Since nature will deepen the feelings of relaxation, invigoration and being present, I recommend you go outside, to the forest, nearby park, your backyard or balcony, where you can see and feel some nature elements around you.

Book your event at least 24 hours before desired time, I will then confirm your request. Please be ready at your preferred exercise location and dress warm according to the weather. I recommend wearing earphones to free up your hands. Talk to you soon!

About Forest Mind Method

Forest Mind is a Finnish method of mental skills exercises designed to utilize and intensify the natural healing effects of forests and nature. This method uses the latest, most widely accepted trends in psychology, therapy, and coaching, including mindfulness and life coaching, in a natural setting or with natural imagery.

Anyone can use the Forest Mind exercises consciously and purposefully to develop internal mental skills that support physical and mental wellness. Forest Mind is ideal for promoting self-awareness, relaxation, stress relief, refreshment, and invigoration.

I am a certified Forest Mind instructor and outdoor guide based in Helsinki, Finland. I have seen and felt personally, how nature really affects our mental and physical wellbeing. Nature is a perfect place to enjoy the moment, contemplate and get in touch with ourselves, our sensations, feelings, thoughts and reactions. Getting to know yourself is a way to a more fulfilling and rewarding life!


Please book the appointment at least 24 hours before the desired meeting time. Dress according to the weather - any weather is good for a walk outdoors! It's also recommended to wear earphones to free up your hands.

It’s nice to have someone call you up and motivate you to get outside and guide you through some restorative exercises in nature, physical or mental. Much more effective than using an app! It’s like letting off steam with a friend while going for a walk, something that’s not possible for all us, particularly at the moment. A real boost for the day or even for the week.
